The Music Metaphor
Sounds have to be organized and noise has to be filtered in order to produce music. In an orchestra the concepts are the bases for music production, the
performers and instruments are the means to produce music. The director
of the orchestra works with concepts to guide the performers.
Concepts such as:Rhythm, melody, song, symphony, concerto, harmony,
tocata, preludes... and so on. These are concepts used to manage the
orchestra and to produce music according the expectations and
compositions; it is required knowledge and creativity to guide the group. All under a world of risk that is based on the listener and its judgement.
A leader in Business Administration has to build, use and organize
business concepts in order to guide the humans for using properly the
resources for achieving the goals.
In management the concepts are related to production, marketing, finance, vision on the business and many others. The concepts are: positive operational result, increasing the basis of customer, develop of human resource... etc. The composition is the plan and the resources are the assets, tangible and intangible.
